On June 3, 2025, representatives of Enyioma Ohafia International Ladies Association, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) dedicated to supporting the less privileged, widows, hospitals, and motherless homes, paid a courtesy visit to the Mayor of Ohafia Local Government Area.
The delegation, led by their representatives, sought to explore potential partnership opportunities with the local government to expand their outreach programs and support more individuals in need. The discussions focused on initiatives such as food distribution, clothing provision, and hospital bill payments.
The Mayor, accompanied by Deputy Mayor Hon. Eme Iro Eme, Secretary to the Local Government Dr. Udeh Celestine Ochu, and the Special Assistant to the Mayor on Security, engaged in fruitful discussions with the delegation. Both parties identified potential areas of collaboration, including joint initiatives to support vulnerable populations and enhance community development.
This courtesy visit is intended to foster collaboration between the local government and Enyioma Ohafia International Ladies Association. The partnership is expected to positively impact the lives of the less privileged and promote community development in Ohafia LGA.
