The leadership of the Comprehensive Old Boys Association, (COBA) National has officially announced the date for its upcoming Quarterly Congress Meeting, calling on all members—fondly known as COBITES—to attend and participate fully.
According to the official notice released by the National Secretary, Mr. Owukori H. Davies, the congress is scheduled to hold as follows:
• Date: Saturday, June 21, 2025
• Time: 2:00 PM
• Venue: Mass Central Hotel, Opposite Julius Berger, Eastern Bye-Pass
• Host Set: Class of 1976–1980
In a statement, Mr. Davies emphasized the importance of the meeting, especially in light of a scheduled bye-election into two key vacant positions within the national executive: the Assistant Secretary and Financial Secretary roles.
“We urge all committed COBITES to not only attend but also participate in shaping the future of our great association,” the statement read.
The congress serves as a vital platform for dialogue, decision-making, and strengthening the unity among alumni from various sets across the country and beyond.
Members interested in contesting for the vacant positions are encouraged to make themselves available and ready for the election process during the meeting.
COBA National continues to uphold its tradition of excellence, fellowship, and service, and the upcoming congress is expected to further these values.
