In Umuahia, Abia State Former Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uche Ogah, has pledged to join forces with Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's 2027 re-election bid.
This strategic alliance aims to strengthen support for Tinubu's agenda in Abia State and the Southeast region. During a visit to Kalu at the Renewed Hope Partners (RHP) office in Umuahia, Ogah commended Kalu's legislative achievements, particularly his role in sponsoring the bill that established the South East Development Commission (SEDC).

"We will do everything within our capacity to see that Renewed Hope Partners is a success in Abia State," Dr. Uche Ogah said. "We share a lot in common. You bring a lot of value to politics. We all have our values," Deputy Speaker Kalu stated.

This alliance is expected to boost support for Tinubu's re-election bid in Abia State and the Southeast region. With Igbo traditional rulers already pledging to deliver at least 70% of the vote in the next election, Tinubu's chances of success in the region appear promising.
